The gaming throne
Acer Predator Thronos
The main component of the Predator Thronos is a mechanized gaming chair, which the developer compares to the cockpit of a futuristic spaceship. A durable metal frame ensures maximum stability of the entire system, while soft PU leather ensures comfort and convenience even during long gaming sessions.
The control panel is located on the armrest of the chair. It allows you to raise the monitor section with the push of a button, as well as move the keyboard and mouse stand away.
In addition, the remote control allows you to put the system in the “zero gravity” Zero-G mode. In this case, the seat and console with displays tilt back 140 degrees, and the footrest extends forward, and the user is almost in a horizontal position.
Customizable RGB lighting is provided for both the chair itself and all system components. The effect of immersion and haptic feedback is provided by special motors that react to the low frequencies of music, as well as explosions and loud sounds in games and movies.
The Predator Thronos platform includes all the hardware you need to play. So, the console is equipped with three Predator Z271U monitors: their 27-inch displays with a virtually borderless design merge into one giant curved screen. Monitors support WQHD resolution (2560 × 1440 pixels). The refresh rate is 144 Hz, the response time is 1 ms. Implemented NVIDIA G-SYNC technology.
The computing load is assigned to the powerful Predator Orion 9000 computer. It is equipped with an Intel Core i9-9980XE processor, 128 GB of DDR4 RAM, two NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics cards with 11 GB of video memory, a fast M.2 PCIe SSD and a hard drive with a capacity of 3 TB.
Finally, the platform includes the Predator Aethon 500 keyboard with dedicated macro keys, the Predator Galea 350 surround sound headset, and the 16,000 DPI (dots per inch) Predator Cestus 510 mouse.
