‘Game of Thrones’ actor joins ‘House of the Dragon’

The series “House of the Dragon” starred “Game of Thrones” in Jefferson Hall. The actor made his debut in episode 3.

The action of “House of the Dragon” takes place 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones”. This is not the world of The Lord of the Rings, where there are immortal elves. There was no way the characters from the Game of Thrones could appear in the House of the Dragon. However, this did not stop the creators of the prequel from inviting Jefferson Hall, whom Game of Thrones fans remembers from the role of Hugh from the Valley, to the show.

Jefferson Hall in the TV series Game of Thrones (2011 – 2019)

In the TV series House of the Dragon, Hall played the twins Jason and Tyland Lannister. Outwardly and in character, the characters are very different from each other. The bearded and long-haired Lord of Casterly Rock, Jason Lannister, was presented as a proud and arrogant hero. Jason tried to convince Rainier (Millie Alcock) to marry him. Tyland Lannister has short hair, and the hero turned out to be more modest than his brother.

Jefferson Hall became the first actor to star in both Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon. However, several characters in the universe have played not only Hall. So, in the “Game of Thrones” more than one hero was portrayed by Ian White and Dean-Charles Chapman – played five and two characters, respectively.

Series 3 was remembered by fans not only for the return of Jefferson Hall to the fantasy universe of George R.R. Martin. Fans noticed a strange blooper in the episode . The creators of the series during editing forgot to put visual effects on Paddy Considine’s green gloves so that his hero Viserys I Targaryen appeared without two fingers.

The premiere of the 4th episode of the series “House of the Dragon” is scheduled for September 12.
