At the end of Dune, Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) and his mother Lady Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson) stayed with the Fremen and set out with them on a journey through the sands of Arrakis. This means that the sequel will have many scenes in which Paul and the blue-eyed fremenka Chani (Zendaya) from his visions roam the mysterious planet. And judging by the frame from the filming, the characters will be in very picturesque places. Zendaya shared a fresh photo on Instagram Stories.

In Dune 2, Paul, Jessica and Chani, and the rest of the Fremen will get to Sitch Tabr. This is a Fremen community. There, Paul will continue to train and eventually become an even stronger warrior and leader. Paul will raise an army of Fremen to fight the Harkonnens. The guy will try to defeat the formidable Baron Vladimir Harkonnen (Stellan Skarsgard) and the villain’s nephew, the insidious Feyd-Rauta Harkonnen (Austin Butler).

“Dune 2” will tell about the events described in the second half of the novel “Dune” by Frank Herbert. Stilgar (Javier Bardem), Gurney Halleck (Josh Brolin), Glossu Rabban (Dave Bautista), Sufir Hawat (Steven McKinley Henderson), Irulan Corrino (Florence Pugh), Lady Margo Fenring (Lea Seydoux), Gaia -Elena Moiyam (Charlotte Rampling), Padishah Emperor Shaddam IV (Christopher Walken) and Shishakli (Suheila Yacoub).

The world premiere of Dune 2 is scheduled for November 3, 2023.
